Barry Cahill, (M Litt, Oxon.), specializes in legal history, black history, Presbyterian history, slavery and abolition. His most recent publication is The Blue Banner: The Presbyterian Church of Saint David and Presbyterianism in Halifax (McGill-Queen's University Press 2008) His current projects include a biography of Frances Fish, the first woman lawyer in Nova Scotia.
